PREPARATION METHOD:

Take 750g dressed chicken in pressure cooker, add 200g Elixir Biriyani Masala paste and cook for 3 whistles, till a thick gravy is obtained (add water if required).

Wash and drain 750g good quality basmati / preferably Jeerakashala small rice. Fry 75 gm ghee or vanaspathy and add 1.5 litre boiled water with 6 cloves, 3 cardamoms, 2-inch piece of cinnamon, 2 teaspoon lime juice and required quantity of salt. Add rice and cook till rice is done.

Arrange the cooked rice and chicken-mix in layers in a vessel for steaming, [Dum preparation] cook for 10 minutes in low flame. Garnish with fried onion and chopped mint leaves.
